Seany Beer Brunch a Smashing Success!

On Sunday, June 11, we hosted our 1st Annual Seany Beer Brunch at Burning Beard.

Five months in planning, the event was a beer-and-food pairing fundraiser to benefit The Seany Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) that brings hope and happiness to kids affected by cancer and their families.

Little did we know when we first hatched the idea just how awesome the day would be, nor how awesome a turnout we would have. By all measures, the event was a smashing success.

Thanks to all of you, as well as the efforts of our generous vendors, volunteers, and Beard staff, we are pleased to announce a donation in the amount $2,500 has been made to this amazing non-profit organization.

Seany’s largest and most exciting project, Camp Reach for the Sky, is a free summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. With your help, four kids will experience the joy and magic of camp this year.

Burning Beard has a close and personal history with the Seany Foundation and we’ve seen first-hand the impact of Seany’s programs on the lives of the children and families they serve. Needless to say, we couldn’t be happier to support this organization in any way we can.

So thank you, wholeheartedly, for your generosity, your support of the Seany Foundation, and for being the best damn community a small business could ask for.
